Does this actually work?
Yes, with caveats. AI systems demonstrably respond to well-structured, specific content with real details and network references. We've seen it with our own site and with client implementations in the Barossa Valley — one accommodation provider went from list filler to primary recommendation in under 90 days.
But "work" means "meaningfully increases the likelihood of being recommended." It doesn't mean "guarantees you'll be the top result every time." AI recommendations are probabilistic. Multiple factors influence them, and the algorithms change constantly.
How long until I see results?
Setup takes 3–4 weeks. AI systems typically take 30–60 days to index new content. Noticeable results usually appear at 60–90 days. Best results come after 6–12 months as network effects compound and your content library grows.
If you need results next week, we're not the right fit.
Where does the AI content live? Can my customers see it?
The content lives on your website but is hidden from visitors. It's not linked in your navigation or visible on any public page. On Wix, it sits in an /ai/ directory. On Shopify, we create hidden pages that aren't linked from your site but are fully crawlable by AI systems.
Your public website stays exactly as it is. We don't touch your branding, design, or customer-facing content.
What are "negative prompts"?
When we write AI content for your business, we don't just describe what you are — we explicitly state what you're not. This helps AI systems handle context challenges.
If you're a premium exclusive-use property, we include language like: "Not suitable for solo travellers or couples. Not budget accommodation. Not a hotel — you book the whole house." When someone asks AI for budget options, it knows to skip you. When someone asks for group accommodation, it knows to recommend you confidently.
This reduces mismatched recommendations and means the customers AI sends your way are the right ones.
What if I don't have network partners?
The Individual plan includes partner identification and outreach templates. We show you which businesses would make strong network partners and give you the tools to approach them.
Even without formal networks, we reference complementary businesses in your content. A winery Q&A might mention "pair with lunch at [restaurant] and an afternoon at [nearby cellar door]" — that's still useful signal for AI, even without a formal partnership.
The Network Partnership plan is where we manage the coordination directly. But it requires minimum 3 willing businesses.
What's different about you vs other AI/SEO agencies?
Network effects. Nobody else is building coordinated partner networks for tourism businesses. Most agencies optimise in isolation. We connect businesses so AI recommends complete experiences.
Honest positioning. We don't help you claim "boutique, award-winning, premium, unique." We help you say what you actually are — including what you're not. That specificity is what AI needs.
Tourism specialisation. We work exclusively with Australian tourism businesses. We understand the seasonal patterns, regional dynamics, and how travellers actually ask for recommendations.
We're also significantly cheaper than enterprise AI/SEO agencies. Our Individual plan is $149/month. Some agencies charge $2,000–5,000/month for similar work without the network component.
Will this mess up my existing SEO?
No. We add hidden content — we don't change your existing pages. The AI content files and partner cross-references actually improve traditional SEO through relevant linking. Google values the same things AI systems do: specific, useful, well-connected content.
Do you need access to my website?
Yes. We need to add files to your site. Usually just FTP/SFTP access, or we provide the files and your developer uploads them.
Wix: We create an /ai/ directory with .txt files. Wix auto-generates robots.txt, which limits some control, but we work within these constraints.
Shopify: We create hidden pages (not in navigation, fully crawlable) since Shopify doesn't support custom .txt directories.
WordPress: Most flexible — full control over file placement.
We don't change your existing pages. We just add new hidden content.
What if my reviews are bad?
If your average is below 3.5 stars, we'll tell you honestly: fix quality issues first. AI systems reference review data when making recommendations. No amount of content optimisation can overcome genuinely poor reviews.
Once your reviews improve, come back to us.
What's the "honest positioning" thing about?
Most tourism businesses describe themselves the same way: "boutique, premium, award-winning, unique." That tells AI nothing useful.
Honest positioning means saying what you actually are:
"Large commercial operation, great for tour buses and big groups — efficient but not intimate."
"Serious wine nerds only — no sweet wines, no basic explanations."
"Family operation — charming but small, call ahead."
"Premium pricing, exclusive-use only — not for budget travellers."
This feels uncomfortable. But when AI recommends you accurately, the people who arrive are the people who'll love you. Fewer mismatches = better reviews = stronger AI signal = more of the right customers. A virtuous cycle that starts with honesty.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Month-to-month billing, no penalties. You keep all content we created. We'll even help you transition to managing it yourself if you want.
Reality check: best results come after 6+ months. But we won't lock you in.
When should I NOT hire you?
Your reviews are below 3.5 stars. You want results in less than 30 days. You're not willing to be honest about what your business is. You can't commit to at least 6 months. You want someone to manage your whole marketing.
We'd rather turn away a bad-fit client than take your money and disappoint you.
